William Arnold “Banny” Lambert, 94, of Satsuma, passed away on July 30, 2023.

He was born on Aug. 9, 1928 in Goodway to William Howard and Ollie Mae Wilburn Lambert.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and nine siblings, Beatrice Davis, Marshall Lambert, Cecil Lambert, Wilburn Lambert, Myrtice Brown, Laura Lou Coleman, Carlos Leo Lambert and Oneal Lambert.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Thelma Johnson Lambert; his sons, Terry Arnold (Andrea) Lambert of Uriah and Tommy Howard (Angela) Lambert of Theodore; his daughter, Sue (Van) Sawyer of Satsuma; his grandchildren, Chris Lambert, Eric Sawyer, Terry “TJ” Lambert, Sarae Roberts, Rebecca Murray, Jill Stokes and Ryan Lambert; along with numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held this Fri., Aug. 4, 2023 at noon at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jay Towne and Bro. Johnny Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in Enon Baptist Church Cemetery in Goodway.

Visitation will be held on Aug. 4, 2023 from 11 a.m. until service time at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home in Atmore.
