Pensacola woman arrested for possession Sept. 1

A Pensacola, Fla. woman was arrested on Sept. 1 on possession of methamphetamine charges, according to the Atmore Police Department.

Public Information Officer Sgt. Darrell McMann said in a release that Sydni Weatherholtz, 30, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

McMann said at approximately 12:20 p.m. on the day of arrest, APD narcotics agents conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Highway 21 for crossing the white fog line several times as they observed the vehicle.

McMann said the agents made contact with Weatherholtz.

“During the agent’s interaction with Weatherholtz, they discovered she was in possession of a clear crystal-like substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine,” McMann said.

Weatherholtz, who was also arrested May 31 on t he same charge and posted bond, was then transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton.
