The holidays will be here before you know it.

Here is the upcoming schedule of events for Atmore beginning with the annual Trick or Treat on the Street event on Oct. 27.

Oct. 27 – Trick or Treat on the Street, 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Several Atmore downtown businesses will be giving out candy and goodies to trick or treaters during the event.

Additionally, Main Street Atmore is holding its third annual Witches’ Ride. Cost to ride a bike or broom is $20, and $50 for golf carts. The ride starts at 6 p.m.

Oct. 28 – Williams Station Day, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The city of Atmore will travel back in time to when it was known as Williams Station for the annual festival on Pensacola Avenue. Festivities include vendors, live music, a 5-K run, food, car show and more.

Nov. 16 – Music on Main, from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Music on Main will be held Thurs. Nov. 16, from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. downtown.

The annual after-hours shopping and free outdoor music event is held in Atmore to help finish any last-minute shopping for Thanksgiving or get a jumpstart on finding gifts for Christmas.

Nov. 25 – Small Business Saturday/Elf on the Shelf Scavenger Hunt

Shop small and local on Small Business Saturday in Atmore, and celebrate by searching for Carney the Elf.

Nov. 30

The Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce is holding its Santa in the Park at First National Bank and Trust’s green space next to the bank on South Main Street from 4:30 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Additionally, Jingle Bell Walk, a downtown Atmore holiday shopping event, will be held at the same time as the Santa in the Park event.

The Christmas Tree Lighting at the FNBT park is at 6:30 p.m.

Dec. 9

The annual Atmore Twilight Christmas Parade will be held at 5:30 p.m.

The parade is sponsored by the Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce.

This year’s theme is Snow Globes.

Chamber officials are now taking registrants for the parade. The entry fee is $10 each.
