Genevieve E. Avery, 94, of Atmore, passed away on Sept. 27, 2023 in Fairhope.

She was born on January 4, 1929 in Woodland, Pa. to Harry Reuben Jordan and Mary Barnyak Jordan.

She along with her late husband, William Avery, owned and operated the Wagon Wheel.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Avery; and her brothers, Harry Reuben “Toots” Jordan, David Lee Jordan and Milton Jordan.

She is survived by her loving family and friends around the country.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the First United Methodist Church of Atmore.
