GECA to present ‘Barefoot in Park’

Greater Escambia Center for the Arts will be presenting “Barefoot in the Park” Oct. 12-15 and 19-22, according to officials.

The show will run nightly at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday of this and next week, and each Sunday at 2 p.m.

“Barefoot in the Park” is a Neil Simon comedy, and is filled with laughter, love and unforgettable moments, GECA Publicity and Webmaster Albert Grassia said.

Grassia said the comedy is set against the backdrop of a New York City apartment.

The cast includes:

• Carly Jo Martens as Corie Bratter

• Daniel Etheridge as Paul Bratter

• Cynthia Martens-Lamont as Ethel Banks

• Vinson “Ollie” Jaye as Victor Velasco

• Joseph Lamont as Harry Pepper

• Tom Jeter as Delivery Man

The comedy is directed by Jaye. Sharon Poulsen is the assistant director.

Tickets are available for purchase online at www.gecarts.org or at the GECA box office.
