An Atmore woman was arrested Nov. 30 on chemical endangerment charges, according to officials.
Atmore Police Department Public Information Officer Sgt. Darrell McMann said in a release that Christina Yanacheak, 41, was arrested on a warrant on the charge of chemical endangerment.
McMann said on May 28, 2022, the APD was notified by the Escambia County Department of Human Resources of a child born at North Baldwin Information that tested positive for marijuana.
“Atmore police investigators attempted several times to contact the mother, Christina Yanacheak, age 41 of Atmore, but were unable to contact her,” McMann said.
Yanacheak was placed under arrest and transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton.
