APD seeking man who broke windows of downtown businesses

UPDATE: The suspect was taken into custody earlier today, according to the APD.
The Atmore Police Department is looking for an individual who allegedly broke several windows of downtown businesses this morning.

According to the APD’s Facebook page, the on call investigator identified Shawn E. Brown as the person responsible for breaking the windows.
Brown wears a baseball cap, his beard is longer and normally has a backpack, according to the APD.
