An Atmore man turned himself in on a theft warrant, according to officials.
Atmore Police Department Public Information Officer Sgt. Darrell McMann said on Dec. 17, an investigator met with a local business in reference to employee theft.
“The investigation revealed that James Sanspree, 40, of Atmore, (allegedly) removed approximately $1,600 of material from the business,” McMann said.
McMann said an arrest warrant was obtained for Sanspree’s arrest, and he turned himself into the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton the following day.
