Mrs. Brenda Golson Brown, 67, of Foley, passed away peacefully on Dec. 25, 2023, at her sister’s residence in Fairhope.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Riley Brooks; father, Benjamin Franklin Golson; mother, Daisy Mae Chavers; three sisters, Flora Hadley, Jeanette Chavers and Elizabeth Nance; and a daughter, Cheryl England.

She is survived by her one son, Jerome brooks, of Ventress, La.; two daughters, Brittany (Jason) Leonard, of Ventress and Tennille Brooks, of Baton Rouge, La.; a daughter, Nita Champion, of Bay Minette; four sisters, Mary Hadley, of Fairhope, Linda Atwood, of Andalusia, Christine Stewart, of Andalusia and Agnes Wilson, of Bay Minette; 12 grandchildren, Xander, Ezekiel, Justus, Kayiah, Maddie Mae, Skylan, Jade, Jera, Jordan, Spring, Dalton and Gage; one great-grandchild, Kamden; best friend, Gavin Davis; and other relatives and friends.

A funeral service was held on Dec. 28, 2023 at Petty- Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC of Atmore was in charge of all arrangements.
