Mrs. Kathryn A. Sims, 77, passed away on Dec. 26, 2023 in Pensacola, Fla.

She is preceded by her parents, Garland Farnell (Daisy Kate Lanier) Nicholson Sr.; husband, Joe Larry Sims; and two brothers, Garland Farnell Nicholson Jr. and Richard Carlton Nicholson.

She is survived by her three sons, Timothy Scott Sims, of Huxford, Brian Craig Sims, of Huxford and John (Shaile) Mulder, of Tampa, Fla.; three daughters, Karen Deanna Metts (Trent Milstedd) of Robinsonville, Pamela Renee (Ronnie) Knowles, of Flomaton and Lori Ann Henry, of Washington; one brother, Kirk Lanier (Jim) Nicholson, of New York, N.Y.; eight grandchildren, Jaden, Taylor, Alex, Paige, Hayden, Hunter, Preston and Drake; seven great-grandchildren, Mckinley, Paislee, Charlie, Leighton, Saylor, Zander and Wren; and other relatives and friends
Funeral service will be held today, Sat., Dec. 30, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Petty- Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC with Pasto Steve Massingill officiating.
Visitation will be held today from 1 p.m. until service time at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC.
