PHD Realty announced Jan. 3 the PHD Realty Determination Scholarship for 2024 for the eighth straight year.

This year, two $500 scholarships will be awarded to qualifying seniors who plan to attend technical school or college full-time in the fall, according to a release.

To be eligible, students must attend high school in Escambia and Monroe counties of Alabama, as well as Escambia and Santa Rosa counties of Florida. The student must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent) and the endorsement of their guidance counselor.

“As education costs continue to rise, we’re eager to continue to support the efforts for those students striving to further their education,” said Patty Helton Davis, broker and owner of PHD Realty. “We’re so blessed to be able to continue to make it a little easier to reach those goals.”

Applications may be downloaded at www.phdrealty.com/we_give_back and are due on April 5, 2024 by 5 p.m. CST. They can be delivered or mailed to PHD Realty at 1812 S. Main St. Atmore, AL 36502.
