An active weather system is heading into the area today, according to the National Weather Service.

Strong to severe storms are possible today into early afternoon. All hazards are possible with a tornado or two, damaging wind guests or hail.

Expected timing of the storm is between 9 am until 2 pm east of Interstate 65, accordong to the NWS.

A wind adisory has alse been issued for the area from 6 am today until 6 pm tonight.

Frequent gusts of 40-50 miles per hour are forecasted.
