Area students interview for Southern Pine Electric Co-op’s Youth Tour program

Twenty-four local students were chosen Jan. 11 to compete to be a 2024 Southern Pine Electric Co-op Youth Tour representative.
Students were chosen by faculty members of their respective schools, based on academic achievements and extracurricular achievements, according to a release.
Students selected by their schools to participate in the youth tour included: Myles Johnson, T.R. Miller High School; Bycelind Jones, J.F. Shields High School; Marley Bodine, Monroe County High School; Harper Harrison, Flomaton High School; Henry Scott, Hillcrest High School; Justin Wedel, Escambia Academy; Charlino Johnson, Escambia County High School; Paisley Donaldson, EA; Ashley Parra, ECHS; Lawson Gross, J.U. Blacksher High School; Jackson King, W.S. Neal High School; Jacob Taylor, Excel High School; Carlye Wiggins, WSNHS; Kendall Plunkett, EHS; Abby Cooper, JUBHS; Secily Carter, FHS; Aayashia Riley, JFSHS; Ayla Harris, Monroe Academy; JaErica Cole, MCHS; Cayden Powell, MA; Kylee Walton, TRM; DJ Harris, Sparta Academy; Tyra Lindsey, Hillcrest High School; and Ella Robinson, SA.
