Escambia County’s wrestling team won the annual county tournament Jan. 20 at W.S. Neal.

The Blue Devils were led by first place finishers in their weight categories, including Donavan Mosley (106 pounds); Justin Gross (113 pounds); Cordaryl Lewis (126 pounds); Elijah Thomas (157 pounds); Mirio Crenshaw (157 pounds); and Daagaryn McCracken (285 pounds).

Second place finishers included Amaree Mosley (132 pounds); Jaylen Young (138 pounds); La’Jarian Riley (175 pounds); and Isaac Manzano (215 pounds).

Third place finishers included Justin Leatherwood (144 pounds); and Tray’Quan Hartley (285 pounds) finished in fourth place.

Additionally, Thomas became the first wrestler in school history to reach 100 wins.
