Mrs. June Katherine Godwin, 78, passed away peacefully in Daphne.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bernard (Lillian Boone) Phillips; three brothers, Clayton Boone, Kenneth Boone and John Boone; and three sisters, Melba Boone, Martha Holder and Shirley Penter.
Mrs. Godwin is survived by her husband of 60 years, William Godwin of Bay Minette; two sons, William Scott (Tammy) Godwin of Little River and Jason Godwin of Bay Minette; four brothers, George Boone of Little River, Leroy (Betty) Boone of Little River, Bernard Boone Jr. of Little River and Joesph Boone of Little River; three sisters, Alma Woods of Atmore, Donna (Richard) Harry of Virginia and Deliah (Jim) Dinzeo of Virginia; one grandchild, Emily Godwin of Little River; and two great-grand-children Raiden Risher and Emma Risher.
A funeral service will be held on Tues., Jan. 30, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Petty- Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC with the Rev. Corneilus Phillips officiating
Burial will follow at Mamie’s Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Jan. 30, 2024, from noon until 1 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC.
