Mr. Curtis Eugene Williams, 85, of Mineola, passed away peacefully on Jan. 26, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Willis Green (Minnie Lee Brooks) Williams Sr.; wife, Betty Ann Williams; one daughter, Connie Williams Smith; three brothers, Albert Williams, Charles Williams and Leroy Williams; and two sisters, Judith Willams and Bobbie Ann Corey.
He is survived by his one son, Curtis (Michelle) Williams, of Mineola; two daughters, Amy (Chuck) Johns, of Brewton and Shelly (Ronnie) Pugh, Goodway; four brothers, David (Sue Carol) Williams, of Goodway, Buddy (Rosie) Williams, of Franklin, Don (Vicky) Williams, of McCullough and Willis (Alice) Williams, of Mexia; three sisters, Louise Gibson, of Claiborne, Orbineze Boatwright, of Poarch and Montez McMillian, of Little River; eight grandchildren, Miranda Dunn, Michael Smith, Kyle Williams, Brianna Pugh, Jayce Pugh, Jessie Pugh, Alaina Pugh and Allison Johns; three great-grandchildren, Ada Dunn, Meela Smith and Hazel Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held next Wed., Jan. 31, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Mineola Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne McMillian, Bro. Lester Peavy and the Rev. Jeff Kircharr officiating.
Burial will follow at Mineola Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Jan. 30, 2024, from 6 p.m. until service time on Jan. 31, 2024 at Mineola Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Michael Smith, Kyle Williams, Jayce Pugh, Jesse Pugh, Jamie Williamson and Jerry Williamson.
