Carrie Hartley-Williams was born July 18, 1949, born in Uriah to the union of the late Jessie and Bessie Hartley.

Carrie was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Bessie Hartley; husband, John N. Williams; her siblings, Jessie Hartley Jr., Ethel Sibley, Charles B. Hartley, Glendine Craft, Earnestine H. Thomas, Mary H. Colin and Robert Hartley; and a grandson, Ki’Monte Williams.

She leaves to cherish memories of her life with her daughters, Pamela Williams and Wendy Williams, both of New Orleans, La. and Kimberly W. Barnes, of Atmore; sisters, Minnie H. Bradley, Cindy Hartley and Jessie Mae Hartley; brother, Tyrone Hartley; special step-brother, Steven Banks; grandchildren, Genequa Williams, Derrick Williams, Braneshia Williams, Eric Williams and Towaski Williams; great-grandchildren, Jabari Williams, Anaya Lee Williams, Derrick Williams Jr., Antwone Williams, Ahmod Lee Williams, Logan Williams, Ace Taylor, Ava Taylor, Kimora Williams and Ahmoni Lee Williams; and a multitude of wonderful relatives and friends.
