Carole Bondurant Hamilton, 78, of Atmore, passed away on Jan. 28, 2024.

She was born on April 7, 1945 in Flomaton to Joseph L. and Bertha Hammac Bondurant.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Joseph Leon Smith; and her siblings, Curtis Bondurant, Evelyn Gilley, J.L. Bondurant, Gene Bondurant, Edward Ross and Walter Ross.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Donald Hamilton; her children, Jeff (Laura) Taylor of Flomaton, Mike (Shannon) Taylor of Flomaton, James (Peggy) Hamilton of Richland, Wash., Kay (Reo) Pugh of Flomaton and Dana (Todd) Vickrey of Atmore; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date with a private inurnment in Mize-Wadkins Cemetery in Flomaton.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
