Benjamin Troy “Ben” Garrett, 46, of Atmore, passed away on Feb. 2, 2024 in Brewton.

He was born on May 14, 1977 in Escambia County, Ala., to Wayne Benjamin Garrett and Thelma Marie Mosley.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two grandchildren, Serenity Faith Wiggins and Trinity Hope Wiggins; and his step-father, Samuel Capers.

He is survived by his wife, Melaidy Weaver; his son, Savage Troy Garrett of Jackson, Ga.; his daughter, Salina (Eric) Wiggins of Bay Minette; his step-children, Randall Weaver of Atmore, Kaitlynn Weaver of Atmore, Reevise Weaver of Atmore, Sheena Lewis of Jackson and Chloe Weaver of Conway, S.C.; his sister, Lynn Martin of Jackson; and 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow, Thurs., Feb. 8, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home with Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in White Cemetery in Perdido.

Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Lawson, Christopher Gibbs, Harley Mace, Stacy Countryman, Luke Waller and Henry Capers.

Honorary pallbearers will be Salina Wiggins and Chloe Weaver.

Visitation will be held Feb. 8, 2024 from 10 a.m. until service time at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home in Atmore.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
