Escambia County beat Pensacola (Fla.) High School 21-11 in its home opener tonight in Poarch.

The Blue Devils scored two runs in the first inning, four runs in the second, one run in the fourth, eight runs in the fifth and six in the sixth to claim the run-rule victory.

Jamarion Robinson went 4-for-5 with four runs and four RBIs to lead the Blue Devils. Amarie Williams went 3-for-5 with two RBIs and three runs.

De’Andre Hooks, J. Silar and Exavion Bradley had two hits each for ECHS.

Hooks and Jacarion King earned the win on the mound. Both struck out four each. Hooks allowed gave up two hits, and King gave up three.
