Northview’s baseball and softball teams shutout L.E.A.D. Academy and Pensacola Catholic, respectively, in regular season action Thursday night.
The Chiefs won 15-0, and the Lady Chiefs earned a 14-0 win.
NHS 15, LA 0
The Chiefs scored five runs in the first inning, one run in the third and nine runs in the fourth.
Jase Portwood went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run to lead NHS.
Guage Harrison struck out two batters and allowed no hits in 1.0 innings to earn the win on the mound. Jayden White threw 3.0 innings and struck out five while allowing one hit.

Northview’s Riley Brooks had three hits, including a triple, a double and a single to lead the Lady Chiefs.
NHS scored two runs each in the first and second innings, three runs each in the third and fourth innings and four runs in the fifth inning.
Kylee Langham and Makayla Golson had two hits each.
