Atmore Community Hospital is accepting applications for its 2024 High School Graduate Scholarship, according to officials.

The deadline to apply is Fri., April 19, 2024.

Eligibility requirements include being a student who is a 2024 graduate of Escambia County (Ala.), Escambia Academy or Northview High School; the student must plan to enroll in an accredited institution of higher learning either in the summer or fall 2024; and applicants who plan to pursue a career in the healthcare field.

Additionally, two letters of recommendation, a high school transcript, SAT or ACT scores and class rank need to be submitted, according to officials.

The scholarship amount will range from a minimum of $500 to a maximum of $1,000 depending on candidate pool. Scholarship funds will be released upon receiving proof of admission and registration for classes into an accredited institution.
