Northview fell 9-1 to Jay, Fla. on senior night tonight at home.

Jay scored one run each in the first, second and fourth innings; and three runs each in the third and seventh innings during the win.

The Chiefs scored one run each in the fifth and seventh innings.

Jay’s Landon Golden threw a no hitter, striking out eight batters and allowing one earned run while walking two.

In other action, Northview fell 12-2 to J.U. Blacksher on Monday night at home.

In girls action, the Lady Chiefs beat Crestview, Fla. 12-7 tonight.

Jamison Gilman went 2-for-4 with two runs; and Avery Stuckey went 2-for-4 with an RBI to lead the Lady Chiefs.

Trailing 3-1 going into the top of the fifth inning, the Lady Chiefs scored four runs and held on late.

Mikayla McAnally allowed two earned runs on seven hits and struck out eight in 6.1 innings to earn the win on the mound.
