Evelyn Golson Turberville, 102, of Auburn, passed away on April 6, 2024.

She was born in Conecuh County to Benjamin and Annie Lou Williams Golson.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Milton Bruce Turberville; and her brothers, Reginald Golson, Wilbur Golson, Solomon Golson, Elmer Golson, Otis Golson and Talmadge Golson.

She is survived by her son, Bruce (Cindy) Turberville; her daughter, Alice (Robert) Crittenden; her grandchildren, Scott (Mary) Turberville and Ben (Stacie) Turberville; her great-grandchildren, Gibbs, Davis and Claire; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be held this Thurs., April 11, 2024 at 3 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Kevin Garrett officiating. A private family graveside service will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Atmore Community Hospital Auxiliary.

Visitation will be held on April 11, 2024 from 2 p.m. until service time at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
