ACS girls split with EA, Snook on senior night

Atmore Christian’s Lady Rams split in regular season action Thursday on senior night at Tom Byrne Park.
The Lady Rams defeated Escambia Academy 6-3 in the first game, and fell 13-1 to Snook Christian in the nightcap.
Seniors Anna Weaver and Elizabeth Terry were honored during a ceremony in between games.
Snook Christian 13, Atmore Christian 1
Snook scored three runs in the first inning, six runs in the second and four runs in the third.
Weaver and Tamra Stoltzfus had one hit each to lead ACS.
Four SCA hitters had two hits each.
Atmore Christian 6, Escambia Academy 3
Weaver allowed two earned runs on four hits and struck out three in a complete game to earn the win on the mound.
Lizzy Landis and Terry had two hits each; Stoltzfus and Weaver had one hit each to lead the Lady Rams. Landis added three RBIs in the effort.
Zy McNeal, Paisley Donaldson, Treasure Riley and Makaila Rodriguez recorded one hit each to lead EA.
ACS scored two runs in the first inning and four runs in the second.
EA added one in the fifth and two in the sixth.
