Lady Chiefs score 5 runs in 1st inning, beat Crestview, Fla. 6-1 Friday night

Northview scored five runs in the bottom of the first inning as the Lady Chiefs beat Crestview, Fla. 6-1 tonight in Bratt.

Makayla Golson and Riley Brooks hit RBI singles, and Kylee Langham hit an RBI double in the opening inning. Two additional runs were scored on an error.

Northview’s Mikayla McAnally earned the win on the mound tonight, allowing two hits and striking out five in 6.2 innings of work. Golson came in in relief for the Lady Chiefs.

Chloe Ragsdale, Golson and Brooks had two hits each to lead the Lady Chiefs. Brooks and Bailey Burkette added two RBIs each.

The Lady Chiefs will be back in action on Monday at J.U. Blacksher.
