Harold Stephen Malone went home to his Lord and Savior on April 18, 2024, after suffering from complications of Parkinson’s disease.

He was in his home and surrounded by his loving family.

The oldest son of Hugh and Mary Lou Malone, Harold was born on February 8, 1940, outside of Atmore, in the small community of Poarch, where he was a member of Judson Baptist Church.

Harold is preceded in death by his parents; and his grandchild, Alexander Wayne Malone.

Harold is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Wanda Malone of Deatsville; five children, Blake (Renee) Malone of Poarch, Kelly (Charles) Malone Walker of Atmore, David (Kris) Malone of Huntsville, Amanda (Ben) Malone Raulerson of Columbus, Ga. and Jonathan Malone of Fairhope; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gerald (Joan) Malone of Bay Minette and Ted (Dawn) Malone of Poarch; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Sunday, April 21, 2024, from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. at Judson Baptist Church in Poarch. Services will be officiated by the Rev. Henry Wilson. Pallbearers will be Jordan Drew, Jeff Malone, Ryan Malone, Alex Meacham, Ben Raulerson and Brian Strawbridge. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gideons International or Judson Baptist Church.
