Lady Rams playing in Final Four today in Loxley

The Atmore Christian Lady Rams are playing in the Panhandle Christian Conference tournament Final Four today after defeating Santa Rosa Christian 16-7 on Thursday.

This is the Lady Rams’ second trip in a row to the Final Four.

ACS got off to a good start against Santa Rosa, scoring two runs in the first inning and three runs in the second. The Lady Rams pulled away for good in the fourth with three runs.

Ava Smoker and Elizabeth Terry went 4-for-5 each and scored two runs each. Smoker added two RBIs and Terry had one. Amanda Morris and Tamra Stoltzfus recorded three hits each in the win.

Anna Weaver struck out five and allowed one earned runs on one hit in 3.0 innings of work.

The Lady Rams play Central today at 4 p.m. at Loxley Municipal Park.
