The Atmore Rotary Club is still accepting applications for its scholarships for 2024 high school graduates.
The local civic organization is awarding scholarships ranging from $1,000-$2,000 per scholarship for up to four 2024 high school graduates with a 2.5 or higher grade point average (GPA) who enroll as a fulltime student in a college program for the 2024-25 academic year for fall and spring semesters.
The scholarships are awarded based on both merit and need, and the winners will be notified this month.
According to club officials, one completed application allows the graduates to compete for one of the four scholarships. Incomplete applications will not be considered, according to officials.
The application packet must include the following:
- Application, including statement of finances and essay
- Official high school transcript
- Two (2) teacher recommendations with each teacher sealing the recommendation in an envelope
Submit your application to Atmore Rotary Club, P.O. Box 327, Atmore, AL 36504.
