The Wheels of Wellness (WOW) program announced May 14 that Chad Hartley has rejoined the program as coordinator of transportation services.
Hartley has served the program for many years, prior to him leaving for a short period of time, to work in the lab at D. W. McMillan Memorial Hospital. During his previous tenure with WOW, Hartley managed the daily operations of the program and provided non-emergency transport services to numerous patients throughout Escambia County, Ala.
The WOW program is a resource in Escambia County and to those who the program supports. WOW provides non-emergency transport service to and from medical appointments for pediatric patients and expectant mothers who lack reliable transportation. Without the WOW program, many of the patients for which the program supports would go without proper medical care.
Escambia County Healthcare Authority officials said in a release that they’re happy to welcome Hartley back to the program.
Those with questions about Wheels of Wellness or if they’re in need to schedule a transport, those can contact Hartley at 251-212- 1216.
