GECA to present ‘The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe’ this summer

The Greater Escambia Center for the Arts (GECA) is presenting “The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe,” a dramatized adaptation by Joseph Robinette this summer.

With run dates of June 20-23 and June 27-30, participants will embark on a journey through the wardrobe into the enchanting world of Narnia, according to a release.

The production is being directed by Albert Grassia and Anna Donald, and entails a tale of bravery, friendship and the triumph of good over evil.

“Prepare to be spellbound as you follow the journey of the Pevensie siblings – Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy – as they discover a magical land beyond the confines of a simple wardrobe. Encounter mystical creatures, brave noble warriors, and witness the epic battle between the forces of darkness and the majestic lion, Aslan,” GECA officials said in a release.

“The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe” promises to be a feast for the senses, with stunning costumes, captivating set design, and exceptional performances that will transport you to a world where anything is possible, officials said.
