The Atmore VFW Auxiliary put more than 200 flags on veterans’ graves in seven cemeteries for Memorial Day on Sat., May 25.
Auxiliary officials said this year, they had some special volunteers, including three members from Cub Scout’s Pack 31 in Flomaton, and one member from Boy School Troop 31, also of Flomaton, along with one of their leaders and moms. Auxiliary officials said 223 flags were distributed.
Additionally, a veteran volunteer helped as well.
