Sara Milliken achieved a dream eight years in the making Monday night after claiming the Miss Alabama crown in the National American Miss (NAM) pageant.
The NAM pageant is a program based on the foundational principle of fostering positive self image by enhancing natural beauty within, according to the NA Miss’s website.
