Flomaton woman arrested May 28 on drug charges

A Flomaton woman was arrested May 28 on drug charges, according to the Atmore Police Department.

Public Information Officer Sgt. Darrell McMann said in a release that on May 28, at approximately 10:15 a.m., APD narcotics investigators executed a search warrant at a residence located in the 300 block of Beck Street.

McMann said investigators obtained a search warrant after an investigation in reference to complaints concerning the residence.

McMann said Courtney Boutwell, 25, of Flomaton, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of a controlled Substance.

She was then transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton.

McMann added that additional arrests are forthcoming as the investigation continues.
