UPDATE: Both northbound lanes at the 58-mile marker are open on Interstate 65, according to officials.
A two-vehicle crash early this morning has caused a lane closure on Interstate 65, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
According to ALEA officials, the left northbound lane of Interstate 65 southbound near the 58 mile marker in Escambia County is currently closed and will be for an undetermined amount of time.
The crash involved two commercial vehicles that occurred at approximately 7:55 a.m.
Troopers with ALEA will continue to monitor the situation, and will provide updates.
