Children played Saturday at Art at the Farm as parents enjoyed food and crafts .

Melissa Seales decided eight years ago she would do something special for the residents of the Atmore area and nearly a decade later her idea, a festival called Art at the Farm, is still going strong.

Saturday marked the eighth annual installment of the event, which is held each fall at Seales farm in Walnut Hill and if the crowd is any indication, the festival is as popular as ever.

“It was a good crowd,” Seales said. “ It was a beautiful day.   My vendors were very happy. Lots of people came and sat and ate and listened to music.”
