The Northview Chiefs hit the road Wednesday on their way to the 2012 Florida High School Athletic Association Class 1A state championship game.

Amidst the fanfare, the Chiefs loaded a charter bus that would carry them to their first appearance in the title game. Northview earned their spot with a 10-3 record and got past the third round of the FHSAA playoffs after their third attempt in as many years.
