‘Toyz for Kidz’ auction set for Oct. 16

Many different items will be available for bidding at the Oct. 16 auction.
The L.A. Bikers are hoping to bring Christmas to needy children yet again this year, and they need the public’s help to accomplish that goal.
The “Toyz for Kidz Auction” will be Thursday, Oct. 16, at 6 p.m., at the PWC building on 106 East Ave. in Atmore. Proceeds from the auction will help purchase toys for needy children in the community, and members of the L.A. Bikers will distribute those toys in December.
Some of the items that will be available at the Oct. 16 auction include local handmade items, such as shelves, chairs, swings, gazebos, grill tables and hutches. There will also be a variety of other items for bid.
During the auction, barbecue sandwiches and hot dogs will be served. There will be a $1 raffle drawing for various prizes, as well.
