Quite a lot has been said about the Orlando shooting that occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Fifty people were killed and 53 others were injured while having a night of fun at the Pulse nightclub, a gay bar, in the Florida city.

The suspect, who was later shot by police, made a 911 call before the shooting and pledged his allegiance to ISIS.

In the aftermath of the shooting, there’s been a lot of support shown from the LGBT community and from other religious groups.

A GoFundMe account has been set up to help support the victim’s families.

As I sat there trying to comprehend what happened in the worst shooting on our country’s soil, I couldn’t help but be sad.

I’m sad because a young man with hate built in his heart performed this unspeakable act on innocent lives.

My heart goes out to the victims and their families.

Much of the conversation will shift toward stricter gun laws in the near future.

Is that the answer?

Should there be a ban on assault rifles, like the one used during the Orlando shooting?

What about our second amendment rights?

These are a few of the many questions that will be asked by many as a result of the horrific crime that unfolded last weekend.

Whatever the answers the will come of the questions, I just hope that we can work together to form a working solution.

The shooter was working alone and of his own accord when he opened fire on the unsuspecting club attendees.

In addition to working with each other, why not love each other, too.

Love is the ultimate cure-all for this, and as always, it conquers all.
