Hillary Clinton tweeted something Saturday that a lot of Americans were feeling.

She tweeted, “@KingJames is a great family man, incredible ballplayer, gives back to his community and isn’t afraid to speak his mind. He’s a world class athlete and a class act. We need more like him in this world.”

This tweet came on the heels of two events that occurred in less than a week — James opening his I Promise School in Akron, Ohio and President Donald Trump tweeting some not-so-nice things about James and CNN reporter Don Lemon.

Even Trump’s wife, Melania, said that she’d like to tour the new school.

Just about every day, I’m glued to all things social media, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Those are my daily vices.

When I read that James opened his foundation’s school that helps at-risk children with an education, free breakfasts and lunches, free bicycles and more, it warmed my heart.

“This is amazing,” I thought.

It is amazing and it comes right before school is letting in for another year. Perfect timing.

Over the last week or so, I’ve thought about who will come out of the I Promise school and how each will make an impact on the world.

You never know, our next President might graduate from the school, or somebody will help develop a medical milestone that will effect countless lives. The potential that this school is bringing is like water running over concrete — it eventually fills the cracks.

Their goodness and impact on the world will be felt for years to come. I look forward to hearing some really good things to come out of that school.

For James, it’s just another way he has helped make the world a better place, and more importantly, brought a smile to many.
