The Escambia County Healthcare Authority announced today there have been 875 reported confirmed cases of COVID-19 out of its two hospitals.

According to a release, there have been 612 confirmed positive cases reported from Atmore Community Hospital, and 263 from D.W. McMillan Memorial.

A total of 3,001 specimens have been collected at ACH with 2,329 negative results, 17 pending and 43 inconclusive.

A total of 1,437 specimens have been collected at DWM with 1,142 negative results, 15 pending and 26 inconclusive.

According to the Alabama Department of Public Health, there have been 1,835 confirmed cases in Escambia County, 465 specimens were collected in the last 14 days and 31 confirmed patient deaths.
