Fire consumed a mobile home off Jacks Springs Road Friday morning destroying not only the home, but also most of the family’s personal effects.

The home, located in the Atmore Mobile Home Park, housed a family of three. The occupants, Calvin Hartley, 23, Kelli Boyington, 21, and her 2-year-old son, were able to save a few items, mostly clothing, from the blaze.

Personnel with Atmore Ambulance tended to the woman occupant, who is pregnant, as a precautionary measure.
