Bell, Massie overall winners of AFM 5K

Atmore’s Keith Bell won his second 5K run in a month’s time by posting a time of 19:09 in Saturday’s Atmore Family Medicine Relay for Life 5K run/walk.

Bell finished the race 15 seconds ahead of runner-up Rebecca Massie who was the event’s overall women’s winner with a time of 19:24.

Behind Bell and Massie were Dakota Goins in third place with a time of 21:45; Jason Miller coming in fourth place with a time of 23:08 and Jason Weber finishing in the fifth spot with a time of 26:32.

Arri Torres was the overall male winner for the 15 and under division finishing with a time of 28:38, while Bethany Reynolds was the overall female winner for that division with a time of 29:41.

In the female 15-30 age group, Jazzlyn Franklin was the winner with a time of 28:23.

Miller was the overall male winner of the 31-50 age group.

In the 50 and over age group Brian Bruley won the male division with a time of 49:49 and Glenda Prewett won the female division with a time of 49:08.
