Kendrick L. Dortch

ATMORE – Mr. Kendrick L. Dortch, 38 transitioned unrepentantly into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 in Atmore.

He was a native of Atmore and had lived in Montgomery before returning back to Atmore. He was a 1993 graduate of Escambia County High School and had attended Alabama State University. He was a automobile salesman at Johnson Ford in Atmore and had worked in automobile sales in Montgomry.

Those left to mourns are his mother, Barbara Davidson Dortch of Troy; his father, McArthur Dortch of Atmore; one son,  Tyler Dortch of Valley and three brothers, Carl Davison of Try, Derek (Francella) Owens of Montgomery and Alonzo Davison of San Diego, Cailf. and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Davis, pastor and Apostle Louis Banks, pastor of El Bethel Holiness Church, officiating. Inhumation will be in the Stallworth Cemetery. Public viewing will be held from 2 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. His body will lie instate at the Church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Turner Funeral Chapel, LLC of Atmore will be directing.
