Mary Nell “Missie” Roach Peacock, age 67 of Byrneville, Fla., passed away Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012 in Century, Fla. She was born Nov. 29, 1944 in Bratt, Fla. to the late Perry and Laura Grimes Roach. She is preceded in death by: Her husband, Hollis L. Peacock.

She is survived by: Her son Jeff Peacock and daughter-in-law Jodi Peacock, of Atmore.

“Missie” died as she lived, with strength and quiet dignity. She was a dedicated wife and mother that spent her entire life seeing to the needs of others. Heaven is a lot brighter today.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012 at 10 a.m. from the Atmore Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with graveside services following at Beulah Assembly of God Church Cemetery in Byrneville, with Pastor Jim Thorpe officiating.

Visitation was held Tuesday, Aug. 21 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Atmore Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1400 East Nashville Avenue in Atmore.
