ECHS battles J.U. Blacksher, Rain on court

The Escambia County High School Lady Blue Devils met the J.U. Blacksher Lady Bulldogs on the volleyball court Monday night and got off to a stellar start to the match with a big, first-set victory.

The Lady Devils scored early and often, jumping ahead of the Lady Bulldogs by a big margin. ECHS showed speed and accuracy, scoring from several different positions and serving well in the first set, en route to a big, 25-8 win to begin the match.

The Devils took the next set by almost as big a margin, winning 25-6 on their way to win the match.

The Lady Devils added another win to their column against B.C Rain, taking them in the first three matches for the 3 of 5 win Tuesday.

The Lady Devils play again Thursday on the road  UMS Wright.
