The Rams travel to Pensacola again Thursday to take on Altheia at 5:30 p.m. and to Fort Walton Beach, Fla. to take on Calvary Christian at 6:30 p.m. Friday for the regular season finale.

The Panhandle Christian Conference will start Saturday, Feb. 8 at East Hill Academy in Pensacola. The Rams will take on Trinitas at 2:30 p.m.

The Rams started the second quarter of Friday’s game on a 10-0 run and held Cedar Lake scoreless in the quarter for a 21-5 lead.

“We played pretty good defense,” said coach Tim Battles. “They scored at the end when we got relaxed.”
Battles said missed shots on offense hurt the team.

“We left 25 points on the floor because of missed layups,” he said.

Monday’s game at Trinitas came down to physical play, Battles said.

“It was a very physical game, which was a disadvantage for us,” he said. “My guys have to get tougher.

“It was a good game,” Battles said. “It was pretty close all the way through.”
