The Escambia County Lady Blue Devils will play in the Thomasville Lady Tiger softball tournament Saturday, Feb. 23.

The Lady Eagles of East Brewton will be one of nine teams in the Thomasville tournament.

Leroy, Jackson and Escambia County High School of Atmore will be in pool A while UMS-Wright, Excel and Southern Choctaw will be in pool B. Millry, Thomasville and W.S. Neal will join the Lady Eagles and be in pool C.

After opening ceremonies begin at 8:45 a.m., pool A’s Jackson and Leroy will play at 9 a.m. followed by Leroy and ECHS at 10:30 a.m. and ECHS and Jackson at noon.

Pool B’s Excel and Southern Choctaw will play at 9 a.m. followed by Southern Choctaw and UMS-Wright at 10:30 a.m. and UMS-Wright and Excel at noon.

The single elimination part of the tournament will begin at 2 p.m.n Canoe.
