Perdido Middle School recognizes eighth graders’ excellence

Eighth graders at Perdido Middle School were recently recognized for their outstanding academic excellence.

Twelve students received the Principal’s Award, which is given to eighth graders who maintained a grade point average of 90 or above for their sixth, seventh and the first semester of their eighth grade years. In addition, students must have been in good standing and demonstrated motivation, initiative, integrity, intellectual depth and exceptional judgment throughout middle school.

Those students earning this award are: Bethany Hadley, Caleb Hicks, Dalton Hicks, Emily Stewart, Dylan Brunson, Micah Murphy, Ashley Presley, Wesley Rabren, Tyler Priest, Tori Clark, Alyssa Parden and Morgan Tuberville.

This year’s valedictorian is Bethany Hadley. Salutatorian is Caleb Hicks. These students were all recognized during their graduation/promotion ceremony.
