WALNUT HILL, Fla. – Wendell Eugene Thompson, 50, of Walnut Hill, Fla. passed away Saturday June 8, 2013, in Walnut Hill.

He was a factory worker born in Atmore on February 24, 1963, to the late Willard E. and Ann Caraway Thompson.
His parents preceded him in death.

Survivors are one sister, Joyce (Randall) Jay of Walnut Hill, Fla.; one niece, Anna (Drew) Odom of Monroeville; three nephews, Michael Jay of Hawaii, Stephen Jay and Alex Jay, both, of Walnut Hill, Fla.

Graveside services were held at 4 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2013, with Bro. Bubba Rolin officiating.  Interment followed in Pine Barren Cemetery. Family received friends from 2:30 until 3:30 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2013, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
